We started as Kitchens by Eileen, founded by designer Eileen Riddle, and today her son Aaron leads a team of designers, project managers, and carpenters who handle every part of your project. Because the same team designs and builds your space, the plan you approve is the plan we build, with fewer surprises along the way. FROM KITCHENS BY EILEEN TO KBE DESIGN BUILD
Eileen Riddle earned her Certified Kitchen Designer credential in 1995 and opened Kitchens by Eileen in 2009. Her son Aaron joined in 2012 and now leads the company as President, with Esther Riddle as Operations Manager, overseeing permits and keeping every client informed. The name changed to KBE Design Build as we grew from kitchens into bathrooms, additions, and custom homes, but the standard did not: listen closely, design carefully, and build it right.

Our showroom and team are based in Brownstown, and most of our projects are within a short drive in Lancaster County, from Lititz and Ephrata to Manheim and the city of Lancaster. We also take on kitchens, additions, and custom homes in York, Lebanon, Dauphin, Cumberland, Berks, and Chester Counties. Many older homes in the area come with plaster walls, uneven floors, and dated wiring, so we plan for those conditions from the start instead of discovering them mid-project. See our work near you in
